What to bring
- A photo ID (or, for minors, a parent or guardian with ID).
- Your FCC Registration Number (FRN). Get one free at fcc.gov before exam day — it is required.
- The exam fee. Check with us on accepted payment methods.
- Your current license and any CSCEs, if you are upgrading.
- A calculator is allowed; a phone is not.
Study resources
The full question pool is public, and practice exams draw from it verbatim. Most people pass by drilling until they score consistently in the high 80s.
